Biography

Jon P. Briscoe received his Doctorate in Business Administration from Boston University in 1998. He was Visiting Professor at the University of Utah from 1998-1999. While at NIU he has developed courses in Leadership and Leading Change in addition to teaching courses in Organizational Behavior. He has received teaching awards in the undergraduate and graduate programs of the College of Business including the "Golden Apple" Award in the EMBA and PMBA programs. His key research concerns career management and cultural differences in careers across countries. In addition he studies leadership, leadership development, and values in organizations. He publishes regularly in scholarly journals such as Journal of Vocational Behavior, Journal of Organizational Dynamics and Journal of Personnel Psychology.
